fragbite has announced that mousesports have been excluded from the current Masters season following their roster overhaul. mouz made headlines on Monday when they revamped their CS:GO squad by signing PENTA Sports trio Johannes "nex" Maget, Denis "denis" Howell and Timo "Spiidi" Richter just 48 hours after winning the ESL Spring Championship, the most important domestic CS:GO tournament in Germany. Two of the players in question had already played for PENTA in the fragbite Masters group stage, in which the German side came in fourth place following defeats against Na`Vi and dignitas, and were thus barred from playing for another team for the remainder of the season.
As such, mouz have been removed from the tournament, with the German team's spot due to be contested between Team Acer and Panthers in a last-chance match.
The winner of the last-chance qualifying match, which has not yet been scheduled, will be placed in Group D, alongside fnatic, AlienTech and nerdRage. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
