However, they would soon find out that things would not go as planned as Team SoloMid had something special in store for them.Kinguin, who got to start on the Terrorist side, went for an A split in the pistol round, and the decision would have paid off it were not for Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who rose to the occasion and picked up three stunning frags. After losing the first eco round, Kinguin went on a full buy, but they were unable to break through TSM's defense, which left their economy in shambles.TSM would continue to exert their dominance until reaching the 8-0 mark, when Kinguin called a timeout. Mikail "Maikelele" Bill then gave his team their first round of the game with three kills to his name, which came as a wake-up call to Kinguin. The European team would go on to cut the gap to three rounds at the end of the half, but they knew they had a mountain to climb to turn this game around. The second half began in the very same manner of the first one, with TSM picking up the pistol round on the back of a great round by device. This time around, however, there was no Kinguin comeback, as the Danes only took their foot off the pedal after getting a 16th round on the board. The second quarter-final match in Cologne began with Kinguin looking make it three in a row on de_dust2 after previously beating Immunity and Cloud9 on this map. This time around, however, there was no Kinguin comeback, as the Danes only took their foot off the pedal after getting a 16th round on the board. Next up was de_overpass, where Finn "karrigan" Andersen powered TSM to win the pistol round thanks to two crucial entry kills with the Tec-9. The Danish team were then caught off-guard by Kinguin's eco strategy, with Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom picking up three kills.
Kinguin would bring the scoreline to 5-1, but then a crucial 1-vs-2 clutch by device finally ended their streak. It quickly got out of hand as TSM would win six of the following eight rounds, with the half ending in a close 8-7 scoreline. A fantastic start from TSM saw them take the first six rounds of the half to extend their lead to 14-7. Kinguin then battled back with a clutch from Ricardo "fox" Pacheco, but there was nothing they could do to keep the Danes from winning the match in convincing fashion. ESL One Cologne 2015Best of 3
